| Student Life |
USAC arranges field trips on which students can hike in the jungle or to a volcano, swim off beautiful beaches, or ride in an aerial tram across the canopy of a jungle. Optional six day tours are offered to the north and south of Costa Rica. Many students say that the field trips offer them a chance to see sights and go places that they wouldn't typically visit. Students will have an orientation which gives them the opportunity to meet the Resident Director and their fellow students.

| Location & Housing |
For housing in Costa Rica, students will be able to take advantage of a homestay. This opens many unique doors to students such as allowing them to practice their Spanish and become part of the Costa Rican culture. A dorm option is available and students will be provided information to pursue this on their own. If they want to live in an apartment, they will be provided information however it will be the students responsibility to make all arrangements.
