| Program Description |

To really see Australia, see us first. AustraLearn offers you the opportunity to participate our exciting and educational summer short course in Tropical Marine Ecology. This course will offer you some extraordinary ways to immerse yourself in the environment while introducing you to various ecosystems through scuba diving, snorkeling, reef walking, wildlife observation, nature photography and hiking. This course is accompanied by faculty from Australia as well as U.S. universities. You will experience extensive field studies on three unique island ecosystems where you will conduct various field projects involving distribution, abundance and behavior of organisms. AustraLearn also offers programs to study abroad for a semester or year, pursue your full undergraduate or graduate degree, or complete an internship.

All domestic Australian travel, accommodations and meals as per itinerary.

| Student Life |
|
Students will travel as a group to various locations. Free days will be given for independent exploration.

| Location & Housing |
|
Because the group travels throughout the 4 week class, students will stay in motels, university residence halls, on a boat, and at a research station on Heron Island in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef.
